Happy Sunday! If last week was the last lap of the holiday season, the next couple days are the home stretch! I originally thought I would talk about “Celebration” this week…both celebrating the past year & celebrating the turn of the new year…but the more I contemplated, the less clear-cut it became 🤔 The path we take in a year is not always simple or effortless, and it’s certainly not linear. More than likely, the last 365 days (almost!) have included highs, lows, lessons, challenges, funks, triumphs, misfortunes, experiences, curveballs, learning, adaptations, and growth. For me, as I reflect on the past year and the already written pages of 2024, I recognize that many of my accomplishments came from challenges and effort; I acknowledge the personal growth that came from failures; I realize that periods of struggle often led to breakthroughs. Sometimes we have to go backwards in order to go forwards. So…as for celebration…I am celebrating the small-wins and the big-wins of 2024 (and all the other stuff that gets us to these wins!).
